DNA – Forensic

You may not recall their names, but James Watson, Francis Crick and Maurice Wilkins received Nobel Prizes for discoveries leading to the molecule known to drive heredity–the DNA helix. But unless you’ve lived on a desert island for a century, you do know how much the criminal justice community has come to depend and rely upon DNA testing as the focal point of forensics investigations.

Novelists, TV and movie producers regularly insert DNA findings into their plots. The introduction of DNA evidence adds authenticity, credibility and scientific wisdom to scripts. In real life, DNA has an even more powerful role to play in the field of investigative science and it’s a tool we use whenever a client calls and needs answers. That’s why my team and I have studied the theory and practice of DNA data collection and analysis.

Of the cases we have handled over the two decades we’ve been in the investigative business, a large number involve DNA analysis to confirm or eliminate questions about a child’s biological parentage. If you suspect you haven’t been told the truth about your son or daughter, you likely have myriad reasons for wanting to know about lineage to determine inheritances, identify chronic diseases and predispositions–or perhaps you need data to present in court for a legal case. We can help you solve myriad DNA puzzles inexpensively and discretely.

At Investigative Resources of Texas, our depth and breadth of forensic testing doesn’t start and stop with DNA analyses, by the way. We routinely administer drug tests on employees for large and small companies. We also provide materials that can be used by personnel wishing to conduct intermittent or routine drug testing on their own. We offer state-of-the-art testing kits that allow clients to us saliva or urine samples, and we report back results fast by faxing them over on the next day, so you don’t have to wait to determine whether your job candidate is viable.

In addition to running DNA panels and undertaking drug screenings, we also conduct sensitive tests that reveal marital infidelity issues via samples provided to us of seminal secretions on undergarments. Clients can attest to our discretion on such delicate matters and it’s important that you know that we don’t take that trust lightly. Why? Because not every situation proves marital infidelity in the end and we want to be sure that relationships remain intact once results are gathered.

Whether your concerns are drug-, DNA- or fidelity-related, we’ve got the experience, tact, diplomacy and scientific skills and connections necessary to get results the way you want them: fast and accurate. After all, your relationship, the health of your business or the acknowledgment of paternity are life-altering events, and knowing the truth can change forever the direction your future takes.
